Key Responsibilities
- Deliver treatment sessions as outlined in the care plan, including strength and mobility training, gait and balance work, transfer training, and therapeutic modalities.
- Monitor and report resident progress, reactions, and needs to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Ensure treatments align with state regulations, payer guidelines, and departmental policies.
- Assist with developing, adjusting, and coordinating therapy schedules in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of treatments and outcomes in accordance with facility standards.
- Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Licensure: Current Arizona state licensure as a PTA.
- Certifications: CPR certification and Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Experience: Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred but not required.
