Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daytoday nursing operations in the behavioral health unit
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of RNs/LPNs/CNAs
- Coordinate care planning and monitor patient progress
- Ensure compliance with treatment protocols, regulatory standards, and medication administration policies
- Provide clinical support—assess risk, perform crisis intervention, and deescalate when needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (therapists, social workers, medical providers)
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality reporting
- Active Arizona RN license (or LPN with supervisory experience)
- Minimum 3 years in psychiatric/behavioralhealth nursing, with at least 1year in a supervisory role
- Strong clinical reasoning, leadership, and teambuilding skills
- CPR/BLS certification (mentalhealth crisis training preferred)
- Excellent communication with staff, patients, and families
