Finance Manager Responsibilities
Structure, present, and finalize finance and lease options for customersWork directly with lenders to secure approvals and competitive financing termsPresent and sell finance products including service contracts, GAP, and other aftermarket productsEnsure all deal paperwork is accurate, complete, and compliant with dealership and lender requirementsSubmit deals to banks and finance sources in a timely mannerVerify stipulations are collected and contracts are funded efficientlyMaintain strong relationships with lending institutions and product providersReview deals with sales managers and sales staff to maximize profitability and customer satisfactionEnsure all federal, state, and dealership compliance guidelines are followedHandle customer concerns professionally and assist in resolving financing objectionsSupport the sales process by helping customers understand financing options clearly and confidentlyTrack production, funding status, and CIT to ensure clean and timely deal completion
Finance Manager Qualifications
Previous automotive dealership finance manager experience requiredStrong knowledge of automotive financing, lender programs, and compliance regulationsProven ability to structure deals and secure approvals across a wide range of credit situationsExperience presenting and selling F&I productsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in paperworkExcellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentGoal-oriented with a strong drive to maximize profitability and customer satisfactionProficient computer and dealership system skillsClean driving record and valid driver’s license required
