Safety & Compliance Administrative Assistant
Medina, OH | Full-Time | Non-Exempt
At Sandridge Crafted Foods, safety is one of our core values. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety & Compliance Administrative Assistant to support our Safety & Sustainability team.
This role is responsible for maintaining critical documentation, coordinating training records, supporting compliance programs, and ensuring the administrative processes behind our safety initiatives operate efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, managing documentation, coordinating multiple priorities, and helping teams stay organized and compliant.
This position plays an important role in supporting employee safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across our manufacturing facilities.
What You'll Do
Documentation & Compliance Support

Maintain and organize safety-related records, including:

Training documentation

Incident reports
-
Audit records
-
Regulatory files
-
Compliance documentation

Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and filing under the direction of Safety leadership.

Support audit and inspection preparation by organizing required documentation and records.

Track corrective actions and maintain supporting documentation to ensure completion and compliance.

Assist with contractor safety program administration by tracking required documentation and compliance records.
Data Management & Reporting

Enter and maintain information in safety databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems with a high degree of accuracy.

Track training completion and communicate follow-up needs to departments and leaders.

Assist with preparation of reports, dashboards, presentations, and safety metrics.

Support data collection and reporting efforts related to safety and sustainability initiatives.
Workers' Compensation & Administrative Support

Assist with workers' compensation documentation and reporting activities.
-
Support return-to-work tracking and administrative coordination.
-
Maintain records and documentation related to employee injury cases.
-
Assist with correspondence and communications related to safety programs and compliance requirements.
Scheduling & Coordination

Coordinate scheduling for:

Safety training sessions
-
Department meetings
-
Audits
-
Inspections
-
Compliance activities
-

Manage calendars and assist with departmental communications.

Support meeting preparation, document formatting, and presentation materials.
Inventory & Department Support

Maintain inventory records for personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety-related supplies.

Assist with purchasing and replenishment of department supplies as needed.

Provide general administrative support to the Safety & Sustainability team.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

2 years of administrative, clerical, office support, or coordinator experience.

Strong organizational and document management skills.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
