Position Overview
Sandollar Spa & Pool is seeking a dependable, hardworking Delivery Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the safe, professional delivery and placement of hot tubs, saunas, swim spas, and cold plunges at customer homes. You’ll work closely with our delivery crew to ensure every job is completed efficiently, safely, and with exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, position, and set up hot tubs, saunas, swim spas, and related wellness products
- Operate delivery equipment including spa dollies, sleds, straps, rollers, and trailers
- Follow all safety procedures and protect customer property during deliveries
- Assist with pre‑delivery inspections, staging, loading, and securing products
- Communicate professionally with customers during arrival, delivery, and completion
- Document deliveries with photos and required paperwork
- Work with the team to navigate tight access areas, slopes, obstacles, and unique delivery challenges
- Maintain delivery vehicles, trailers, and equipment in clean, working condition
- Support warehouse and yard operations as needed (staging, organizing, loading)
- Represent Sandollar with professionalism, courtesy, and a customer‑first attitude
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Comfortable with physical labor, heavy lifting, and outdoor work in all seasons
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to unique delivery situations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with moving, construction, landscaping, or delivery work is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and coworkers
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 75 lbs with a team
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver large items using equipment
- Comfortable working outdoors in Maine weather
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
