As a HR Director you will:

- Enhance employer branding and recruitment strategy, positioning the bank as an employer of choice in competitive markets
Requirements of this HR Director role:
- Foster a collaborative, “family-oriented” culture centered on exceptional customer service and community involvement
- Ensure full compliance with federal and state employment laws along with industry-specific banking regulations
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, attracting top banking talent while overseeing interviews, selection, and background screening
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required
- Identify high-potential talent and develop succession plans to ensure a strong pipeline for future leadership roles
- Serve as a community ambassador, representing the bank at local events and strengthening external relationships
- Proven HR experience within the banking industry
- Oversee employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management, mitigating organizational risk
- Drive onboarding excellence and implement engagement initiatives that support strong employee retention
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with the bank’s long-term growth and business objectives
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred
