Job Summary
Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). In this role, you will function as an essential member of a Patient-Centered Medical Home, providing primary care to patients across the lifespan.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and manage chronic conditions.
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare and wellness exams within established guidelines.
- Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing.
- Prescribe therapeutic treatment plans and medications.
- Coordinate care with specialists, testing facilities, and community health teams.
- Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant patient charts within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in family practice, internal medicine, or community health environments is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient with EMR charting, excellent customer service, and strong team-oriented clinical skills.
