Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform routine garden maintenance, including watering, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing plants to ensure optimal health and aesthetics.?
- Assist with all aspects of greenhouse production, supporting plant propagation and cultivation.?
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution.?
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively.?
- Diagnose plant health issues and apply appropriate treatments or pest control measures.?
- Document service activities and provide detailed reports to supervisors.?
- Engage with students, providing guidance and support as they learn in the garden environment.?
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal horticulture training or certification is?preferred. ?
- 3 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or a related field.?
- Valid driver’s license required.?
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.?
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic troubleshooting skills.?
- Strong communication skills and willingness to interact with and mentor students.?
- Experience working with mobile based technology. ?
Salary : $38,000 - $48,000
