HR Generalist – Compliance & Employee Support
Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort | Miramar Beach, FL
This is not a one-lane HR role and it is 100% on-site.
If you’re looking to grow, gain real exposure, and get hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR, this is a strong opportunity. You’ll support both compliance and employee-facing work in a fast-paced resort environment.
What You’ll Do
Manage workers’ comp, unemployment, and leave of absence cases
Handle OSHA reporting and compliance tracking
Support J1 and H2B programs
Assist with employee housing coordination and compliance
Work through FMLA, DOT, DOL, and FLSA-related items
Provide backup support to payroll and benefits
Support employee conversations, especially around medical situations
A large part of this role involves reporting and documentation, so attention to detail is key.
What to Expect
No two weeks look the same. Some days are steady, others move quickly depending on what’s happening across the operation. Spring through fall tends to be our busiest season.
This is a hands-on team. Everyone, regardless of title, contributes to the day-to-day work that keeps the department running. That includes both higher-level responsibilities and foundational tasks.
