Rubbercraft is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I who supports the development and improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This entry-level role assists in implementing best practices, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations. The position provides hands-on experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives under guidance from senior engineers. About Rubbercraft (RCC): Rubbercraft is a trusted leader in engineered elastomer solutions serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Our team designs and manufactures precision-molded seals, gaskets, and custom rubber components that perform in the most demanding environments. We take pride in craftsmanship, collaboration, and a culture built on innovation and reliability.Job Responsibilities: Process Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining work instructions, manufacturing routers, and related documentation.Continuous Improvement: Support Lean Manufacturing and 6S initiatives to reduce waste and improve workflow.Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve basic process and product issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers.Tooling Support: Contribute to the design and maintenance of simple fixtures and jigs under supervision.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Design Engineering and Operations to ensure manufacturability of products.New Product Support: Participate in new product introduction activities, including basic process setup and testing.Training Assistance: Provide technical support to production teams and assist in training on updated processes.Compliance: Follow ITAR regulations and company standards for safety and quality.Job Specifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline). Experience: 0–2 years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience (internships or co-op experience preferred). Technical Skills: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling concepts.Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Exposure to CAD software for simple fixture design.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MRP systems is a plus.Soft Skills: Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Analytical thinking and attention to detail.Competencies: Customer FocusEthics and ValuesProblem SolvingIntegrity and TrustFunctional/Technical SkillsAction-OrientedComposureValues DiversityBenefits: At Rubbercraft, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
