About the Role
Sandbox VR is bringing the future of immersive entertainment to Virginia Beach — and we’re looking for a confident, goal-driven Sales Associate to help local businesses, schools, and community groups experience it firsthand.
As our Outbound Sales Associate, you’ll be the voice of Sandbox VR for group experiences, reaching out to companies and organizations to introduce our world-class VR adventures for team outings, celebrations, and corporate events.

You’ll own your pipeline like a mini business- identifying opportunities, closing deals, and celebrating wins with a crew that plays as hard as it hustles.
What You’ll Do
Outbound Sales & Lead Generation
- Contact local businesses, schools, and organizations to introduce Sandbox VR as a unique team-building and group event experience.
- Manage outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to drive awareness and secure bookings.
- Build relationships with decision-makers (HR, event planners, managers) to understand their needs and tailor solutions.
- Run your outreach like a pro- balancing volume, precision, and personality in every touchpoint.
- Experiment with creative strategies (LinkedIn connects, local biz events, cold drops) to build your network fast.
- Set and crush weekly booking goals - with rewards that scale with your results.
Relationship Building & Account Growth
- Nurture repeat clients by providing outstanding service before, during, and after their visit.
- Identify opportunities for upselling (private events, full buyouts, premium experiences).
- Track outreach activity and performance metrics in CRM or lead-tracking tools.
- Be the go-to rep that local businesses remember by name -and recommend to others.
- Track wins, learn from misses, and always be iterating your approach.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Partner with the Store Manager and Guest Experience team to ensure smooth group event execution.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve future events and outreach strategies.
- Represent Sandbox VR’s culture — energetic, egoless, and focused on collective wins.
Who You Are
- A confident communicator who loves connecting with people
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and not afraid to pick up the phone
- Has 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality (preferred)
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, email, and call scripts
- Brings professionalism, enthusiasm, and curiosity to every conversation
- Available for occasional evenings or weekends during large group events
- You love turning “no” into “not yet” and finding a way to win.
- You treat sales like a sport: every call, a new rep; every win, a team point.
- You’re hungry to grow your skills, your numbers, and your impact.
- Previous sales experience required
