What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Grounds Crew position at Sand Ridge Golf Club?
Sand Ridge Golf Club is looking to fill positions to help maintain the golf course and the clubhouse landscape. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working outside. Prior golf course maintenance or landscape experience is helpful, but we will train the right individual. If you enjoy getting paid to get exercise and fresh air, then this could be the job for you.
Job Duties:
- Preparing the golf course for daily play
- Mowing greens, tees, rough and other areas
- Bunker maintenance
- Fills or replaces divots
- Golf course construction and renovation
- Clubhouse landscaping
- General golf course labor
Physical Demands:
Employees are regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud.
Compensation Package:
- $15-19/ Hr. (H.S./College Students $13.00 to $16.00/hr)
