Job Summary
Join the Mayfield Sandridge Grounds Crew (Mayfield Campus) team and play a vital role in maintaining the pristine beauty and playability of our golf course. As a Grounds Crew member, you will be responsible for ensuring the course remains lush, healthy, and visually stunning for players and visitors alike. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your landscaping skills, and contribute to an exceptional golfing experience. Seasonal full and part time positions are available and Retirees are welcome to apply. Your dedication will help uphold the high standards and responsiblities of the Mayfield country club grounds team.

Responsibilities

• Experience with mowing, and the use of landscaping tools are preferred but not required; Your training is provided on the job and experienced hires will move quickly into higher resposibility roles
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks to keep fairways, tees, greens, roughs and surrounding grounds areas in top condition
• Maintain pathways, bunkers, sprinkler heads, and surrounding landscaping to enhance course aesthetics and safety
• Collaborate with team members on daily groundskeeping plans and report any issues or hazards promptly
• Follow top agronomic practices to support plant health and sustainability across the course and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Be on time with a positive attitude and work ethic
• Required Hours: Full time : 6:00 am- 2:30 pm (Mon-Fri, and are flexible) and 6:00 am -10:00 am (Sat-Sun) every other weekend are required (Overtime is permitted )
• Part time: 6:00 am- 10/11:00 with a flexible day on/off schedule
• Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners as well as power tools like trimmers or blowers safely
• Strong work ethic with physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions safely and efficiently
• Excellent dependability, communication, and teamwork skills are keys to our success
• Prior experience in land management or gardening is a plus but not mandatory as we will train promising applicants; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential
