Elementary Office Secretary
Job Duties:
- Answer phone calls
- Window responsibilities; tend to students, visitors, & teacher needs
- Admitting visitors at the door
- Taking care of tardy students
- Notifying teachers of afternoon transportation changes
- Ordering supplies and arranging servicing for the copiers
- Filing of student discipline
- Filing Accident Reports
- Tracking teacher personal and sick days
- Arrange for substitutes for teachers and support staff personal and sick days
- Arrange for substitutes for 504/IEP meetings
- Create a Google Doc for coverage shared with office staff
- Reconciles Meal Magic (lunch money deposits)
- Reconciles substitute teachers through EduStaff
- Running background checks on volunteers
- File all paperwork for CA60’s
- Student of the Month Spreadsheet
- Student of the Month Letter to parents
- Taking photos for school functions
- Promote school functions
- Help with dismissal
- Setting up Field Trips for teachers
- Setting up bus transportation for Field Trips
- Enter student attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Experience: Job-related experience required with increasing levels of responsibility desired
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Schedule: School year plus 3-4 weeks; breaks off (Christmas break, Spring break, most of summer break)
Hours: 8:30am-4pm
Hourly Wage: $16.50
