Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
• Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and include activities for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
• Manage classroom environments effectively by applying classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and respect among students.
• Conduct early intervention strategies and adapt teaching approaches for children with special education needs or developmental delays.
• Facilitate activities that enhance social skills, emotional regulation, and physical coordination while ensuring child safety at all times.
• Utilize standardized testing tools and observational assessments to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other educational professionals to communicate student progress, behavioral concerns, or developmental milestones clearly and professionally.
• Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student assessments, behavior management notes, and classroom activities in compliance with childcare standards.
• Support child welfare by fostering a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence in young learners.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to childhood education, behavior management, literacy strategies, and classroom management techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior preschool experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention practices, and special education needs.
• Demonstrated ability in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Classroom management expertise with the ability to create a positive learning environment that supports behavioral expectations.
• Experience with lesson planning, standardized testing tools, tutoring techniques, and teaching physical education activities.
• Familiarity with early childhood education standards and best practices for childcare settings.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies for diverse learners including toddlers with special needs or developmental delays.
• Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; additional training in behavior management or child welfare is a plus.
