Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based and structured activities.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.
• Monitor and assess individual progress and communicate feedback to parents/guardians.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and engaging classroom conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create cohesive educational experiences.
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to support their child's development.

Education & Training Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
• Completion of the following training requirements:
• 45-hour Child Growth and Development
• 45-hour Preschool Methods and Materials
• 45-hour School-Age Methods and Materials
• Including All Children and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Basic Health and Safety Training
• Medication Administration Training
• 9-hour Communication Course
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Continuing education or coursework in child development (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.77 - $21.40 per hour
