Summary
As an integral part of San Pedro’s team, a Server team member greets guests, serves food and drinks and/or delivers them efficiently while providing excellent dining and customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Follows instruction as Server under the Executive Chef/Cook leadership when needs arise.
· Guest greetings upon arrival.
· Provides excellent customer service to all guests and team members.
· Prepare tables before service, ensuring all settings are to the Executive Chef instructions, maintain a clean and organized
area by clearing and wiping table areas.
· Ensure dishes are presented correctly, serving and clearing tables, while maintaining a polished appearance.
· Address guest complaints or issues promptly, professionally, and calmy, escalating to management when necessary.
· Collaborate with kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure seamless and high-quality guest experience.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of One (1) year of comparable experience
· High School Diploma
· Understanding food and beverage pairings.
· Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills, positive and professional demeanor.
· Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends is typically necessary.
· Ability to work with diverse groups of people in an atmosphere of collaboration and service
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Food Handler’s Certification preferred
· Possess demonstrated ability to work in a church-related as well as service-oriented environment

Requirements
Position requires walking, sitting for extended periods of time, bending, stretching, and stooping. Repeated use of hands, fingers, wrists, and arms. Must be able to see up close as well as from afar. Job incumbent must also possess the ability to hear and communicate verbally. The employee is required to lift up to 25 pounds.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have outstanding problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply routine mathematical concepts such as addition, multiplication, and division.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
