Server Assistant / Busser – Country Club
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Server Assistant / Busser to join our Food & Beverage team. This position plays an essential role in providing exceptional service to our members and guests by supporting servers, maintaining a clean dining environment, and assisting with banquet and event setups. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Bus and reset dining tables promptly and efficiently.
- Refill water glasses and assist with non-alcoholic beverage service as needed.
- Support servers by delivering food, clearing plates, and responding to guest needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, patio, and service stations.
- Polish silverware, stock glassware, napkins, condiments, and other dining supplies.
- Set tables according to club standards for daily dining, private events, and special functions.
- Assist with banquet and event setup and breakdown, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
- Ensure dining areas remain clean, organized, and inviting throughout service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club policies.
- Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to provide a seamless dining experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events.
