You understand that every trip contributes to the success and safety of our students, staff, and community. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): -Safely operating district vans and vehicles to transport students, staff, mail, and materials between school sites and district facilities. -Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns immediately. -Adhering to all traffic laws, district policies, and safety regulations at all times. -Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and readiness, including fueling, minor upkeep, and organizing cargo. -Communicating effectively with dispatch, administrators, and staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries or transport. -Supporting district events and operations, such as inter-site deliveries, field trips, and emergency transportation needs. -Demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and reliability in all interactions with students, families, and staff.

What you need for this position: -Completion of 10th grade or equivalent -Valid California Class B License or Permit -Valid Commercial Medical Certificate -Valid First Aid certification (Red Cross, EMSA or CHP) -Certified DMV Record completed within last 30 days. To obtain this submit Request for Own Driver License/Identification Card or Vehicle/Vessel Registration Record to DMV and be sure to check the box at the top to "Certify the record as a true copy of record".
