As an Adapted Physical Education Teacher, you will empower students with diverse abilities to develop the physical, motor, social, and lifelong wellness skills they need to succeed both in and beyond the classroom. You will design individualized, inclusive physical education experiences that align with students’ IEP goals while promoting confidence, independence, and active participation. Through collaboration with families, educators, and related service providers, you will help remove barriers to participation, foster meaningful inclusion, and ensure every student has the opportunity to experience the benefits and joy of movement.

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for application purposes only. -Single Subject Physical Education -Adapted Physical Education Authorization -EL Authorization -Entry of all past employers in the work history section of this application (please see Education Code section 44939.5 - as amended by California AB2534) -This is role is a 10 month role, but you will have an opportunity to increase to an 11 month role, if selected.
