Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an ""as needed"" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree, preferably in nursing; Master’s Degree in Nursing (if doctoral degree is not in nursing)
- Current Texas RN Nursing license
- At least three (3) years direct or related work experience in nursing required exclusive of teaching.
