Dance Instructor

San Diego Dance Theater is hiring for in-person Children's Classes teachers for the Fall 2026 session! Session runs from approximately mid-September to mid-December with the opportunity to continue employment into Spring Session and beyond.

Qualifications:

1. 2 or more years of experience teaching dance classes for children ages 2 - 8
2. competence in the styles of Ballet and Tap required
3. strong classroom management, verbal communication, and email communication skills
4. ability to create and deliver age and style appropriate lesson plans

Good to know:

1. Teacher needed on Wednesdays between 3pm - 6pm, so your availability would need to be compatible with those timeframes
2. Compensation is $40 per hour, and is non-negotiable
