Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Caregiver to provide dedicated, one-on-one support for a single client in their home located in the 92119 area. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, fostering independence, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on assistance with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Assist with Hoyer lift transfers.
- Change incontinence briefs and ensure proper personal hygiene.
- Support meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable home.
- Offer companionship, social engagement, and emotional support.
- Administer medication reminders as needed.
- Document and communicate any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate parties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous caregiving or direct care experience highly desirable.
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and changing incontinence briefs preferred.
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate nature.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
