What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher's Aide position at San Carlos Preschool?
Full-Time & Part-Time positions available for Summer and Fall. Pay rate depends on education and experience.
Candidate MUST HAVE a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units, meet all requirements as set forth by the State of California, Department of Social Services (Title 22, Division 12, Chapters 1&2, Sections 101206 and 121316.3.a. Candidate must be 18 years of age or older and have or agree to getting Fingerprint Clearance. Vaccinations (MMR, TB, Flu, DtaP) must be current. CPR & First Aid Certificate a plus but not required.
Start Date: May 11, 2026 for Summer positions May till July 24, 2026. Fall start date to be determined.
Teacher aide responsibilities include providing support to classroom teachers by working directly with students. In the classroom, teacher aide responsibilities may include working with students who need additional instruction, preparing materials and equipment for activities. To ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, physical and educational needs. Be able to utilize developmentally appropriate practice and best practice methods at all times. Be warm and nurturing with children. • Be a positive role model for all caregiving staff and children.
