San Bruno Park is a linguistically and culturally diverse school district in the San Francisco Bay Area. Located at the northern tip of Silicon Valley and just 10 miles south of San Francisco, this small preschool to grade 8 district is the home to four elementary schools and one middle school. Job Summary
Job Summary
The Program Specialist assists the Director of Student Services and Special Education to observe, consult and assist special education and general education staff in providing services to students with special needs. The Program Specialist also assists in planning and evaluating programs for students with special needs, coordinates curricular resources, and plans/designs/presents professional development for both general education and special education staff regarding services for students with special needs. The Program Specialist may serve as Administrative Designee at IEP meetings as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Education Specialist Teaching Credential or Clinical Services Credential English Learner Authorization or CLAD Minimum five (5) years of practical public school experience as a special education teacher or specialist Able to work with others and a strong positive attitude desired
Completed Edjoin application, Resume, three (3) letters of recommendation, letter of introduction
