Located at the northern tip of Silicon Valley and just 10 miles south of San Francisco, this small preschool to grade 8 district is the home to four elementary schools and one middle school. Home to YouTube, Walmart.com and numerous other businesses, the city is a hub for tech and innovation. The city is geographically diverse, ranging from the urban flatlands to the central greenspace of the San Bruno City Park to the grand sweeping Bay vistas from the highest hilltops of the community. Under the Director of Special Education and the direct supervision of a credentialed Speech Language Pathologist (and following guidelines of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensure), completes a variety of tasks designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication; works with students who have identified speech and language disorders in isolation or in combination with other disabilities

SBPSD Summer SLPA – Belle Air, Allen, Parkside and Hesselgren (Half Day AM) Dates: June 22 – July 22, 2026 (Monday - Friday, No School–July 3) June 18 (prep day) Hours: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm (Monday - Friday) Rate: $75 per hour Rising K to Rising 8th Grade Qualifications: Prior experience as an SLPA
