Job Summary
The Special Education Paraeducator assists the assigned Special Education teacher(s) and/or general education classroom with students with disabilities in caring for their learning, physical and/or behavioral needs under the direct supervision of the assigned teacher(s) and the Director of Special Education.
Requirements / Qualifications
Training and Experience: Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade or greater Must pass basic skills test, completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education, or possession of an associate’s degree or higher.
Special Education Paraeducator (Range 7) Multiple positions available at the following school sites: Allen, Belle Air, John Muir, Parkside and Portola Schools Days Per Week: 5 Hours Per Day: 6 (8:00am-2:30pm M-F); includes 30 minute unpaid duty free lunch Days Per Year: 185 Days Start Date: Application Deadline: As soon as filled
