The Job
The Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector's (ATC) office is recruiting for Supervising ATC Payroll Technician* to supervise a portion of the staff within the Central Payroll section and to control production of pay warrants for County and Special Districts employees. Essential duties include supervising, making hiring recommendations, assigning, and reviewing work of Central Payroll section clerical staff; analyzing and interpreting Memoranda of Understanding (MOU), employment contracts, federal and state regulations, court orders, and system processes to resolve payroll issues; and generating system processes on-line, running payroll, and evaluating and approving on-demand pay requests.

Desired Qualifications
Complex, full-cycle payroll processing experience.- Experience working in the payroll field for a public/governmental agency.
- Supervisory or lead experience.
Selection Process
