The Registrar at Heritage Academy, a ResponsiveEd campus, is responsible for the accurate management, maintenance, and reporting of all student academic records. This role ensures compliance with ResponsiveEd policies, Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements, and federal regulations while supporting the campus mission of student success and academic achievement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and secure all student cumulative records, including enrollment, withdrawal, attendance, and transfer documentation
- Process student registrations and ensure all required enrollment documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with ResponsiveEd and TEA guidelines
- Manage student transcripts, credit tracking, and academic history to support graduation requirements
- Support PEIMS data entry, reporting, and audit preparation in collaboration with campus and district teams
- Assist administrators, counselors, and instructional staff with student scheduling, enrollment accuracy, and record verification
- Respond to records requests from other schools, districts, and authorized agencies in a timely and compliant manner
- Maintain strict confidentiality of student records in accordance with FERPA and ResponsiveEd policies
- Support campus attendance monitoring processes and ensure accurate daily attendance reporting
- Participate in campus data validation and accountability reporting processes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in school registrar duties, student records management, or administrative office support preferred
- Strong knowledge of PEIMS reporting systems and Texas school compliance requirements preferred
- Proficiency in student information systems (SIS) and data management platforms
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Effective communication and customer service skills in a school-based environment
