Position Summary:
Buldak isn’t just a brand — it’s a viral cultural phenomenon. From viral Fire Noodle Challenges to Gen Z fandom, Buldak thrives on bold ideas, unforgettable experiences, and trend-defining moments. As Senior Director, Brand Strategy (Buldak), you will lead the vision and execution of Buldak’s marketing ecosystem across all pillars.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Growth Strategy – Define and lead the roadmap for growing user base and brand equity, establishing a 3 year growth roadmap.
Brand Architecture – Lead the brand equity development making the brand among top 10 Gen Z brands in the USA
General Manager mindset – Take end to end ownership of new product development, working jointly with consumer insights, product development, customer leadership and finance teams
Go-to-Market Leadership – Ensure in market success with strong go-to-market strategies, developing category growth story and partnering with key customers
Team Leadership – Develop and lead a team of 5-7 direct reports while managing the marketing network across USA and partnering other global team and other regional teams
Requirements:
10 years of progressive brand management/marketing experience, ideally in CPG (food & beverage strongly preferred).
Proven track record of managing brands with revenue exceeding 1B$, with hands-on leadership across the growth journey.
Experience building Gen Z–focused brands, with deep understanding of cultural trends, digital-first storytelling, and community engagement.
Strong background in e-commerce and digital channels (DTC, Amazon, retail media), with ability to drive omni-channel growth.
The base salary for this position is between $160,000.00 and $190,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
