Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of construction practices. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Mix paints according to specifications and ensure proper application techniques are used.
- Perform plastering, caulking, and other finishing tasks to achieve a polished look.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks including fixture installation and trim carpentry.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and materials after use.
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks as needed on job sites.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Experience with residential painting techniques as well as commercial painting projects.
- Familiarity with industrial painting processes and materials.
- Knowledge of renovation practices including concrete finishing, masonry work, and remodeling skills.
