Location: Traverse City
Type: On-call / 1099 contractor. Paid per job/hour worked
Local property manager/homeowner looking for a reliable painter for ongoing work.
Scope of Work:
- Constant touch-ups: Scuffs, nail pops, door jambs, baseboards, rental turnovers. Fast 1-3 hr jobs.
- Periodic larger jobs: Full room repaints, exterior trim, cabinets, vacation rental refreshes, move-in/move-out.
Requirements – Must Have:
- Your own equipment: Brushes, rollers, sprayer, 6-8ft ladder, drop cloths, etc. Paint/materials provided or reimbursed.
- Proof of professionalism:
- 3 years residential painting experience
- Valid MI driver’s license reliable vehicle
- General liability insurance – COI required before first job
- Photos of past work 3 professional references
- Smartphone for job photos, estimates, and scheduling
- Available for on-call touch-ups within 24-48hrs when possible
Pay: $30/hr. No salary, no guaranteed hours. Paid weekly via check/Venmo/Zelle after job approval.
