Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle development of large-scale power and AI data center assets from site origination through permitting, design, interconnection, financing, and transition into construction execution.
- Drive regional growth strategy and market expansion across the Eastern U.S., aligning development activity with long-term pipeline and investment priorities.
- Originate and structure multi-gigawatt power and data center opportunities, including collaboration with landowners, utilities, and development partners.
- Negotiate and oversee key project agreements including land control arrangements, PPAs, utility supply agreements, incentives, water and fiber commitments, and procurement contracts.
- Manage project financial models, budgets, and schedules while overseeing cross-functional teams and external advisors to ensure delivery to critical milestones.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure or data center development, with a proven ability to originate and progress projects through to notice to proceed.
- Strong understanding of land acquisition, real estate structuring, permitting processes, and entitlement pathways for complex energy or data center projects.
- Familiarity with grid interconnection processes, utility engagement, and critical infrastructure requirements including power, water, and fiber.
- Proven capability in managing multi-disciplinary project teams, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships across multiple concurrent developments.
- Must have a background in natural gas development
Travel - up to 25% / Salary - up to $250,000
