Samuel Knight Corporation, a Dallas-based specialist recruitment firm, is proud to partner with a national renewable energy owner, operator, developer and services provider in their search for a Solar QAQC Engineer. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in utility-scale solar to support and oversee the day-to-day operations of a fast-growing portfolio of PV plants.
The Quality Control Engineer will act as the primary technical contact for the QC teams, supporting troubleshooting activities, data analysis, and initiatives aimed at improving overall performance. You will be expected to:
- Develop and maintain inspection templates as required, ensuring consistency across QA/QC processes.
- Provide technical support to field teams through remote troubleshooting, research of design drawings, codes/standards, and manufacturer installation requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and data review of underperforming PV and BESS assets, identifying actionable improvements to enhance performance.
- Review field photos and support QA/QC reporting for asset management and third-party stakeholders, acting as the main technical point of contact for quality-related queries.
