Environmental Services Director
Job Duties:
Plan, organize, develop, and direct the general operations of the Environmental Department in accordance with the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing a long-term care facility as direct by the Superintendent, to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. To include housekeeping, laundry, general maintenance of facility and equipment both inside and outside, and repairs. Strong mechanical skill set.
Job Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma and three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in maintenance/environmental field. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions. Must possess the ability to deal with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public. Reliable and strong work ethic.
Preferred:
Experience in a health care facility/hospitality facility/environment.
Shift:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Occasional on-call based on need of facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
