Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to coordinate guest seating and manage wait times effectively
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Experience in guest relations, upselling techniques, and providing memorable guest experiences
