Job Summary
We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Breakfast Server to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our morning guests, ensuring they start their day with excellent service and a warm smile. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and eager to create a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food and beverage service in a lively environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service during breakfast hours.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using cash registers.
- Serve breakfast items, beverages, and specialty drinks with professionalism and flair.
- Upsell menu items such as coffee, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience.
- Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with food handling, beverage preparation, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
Skills
- Previous food service or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or breakfast settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks smoothly.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail service is a plus.
- Ability to process sales transactions accurately and handle cash responsibly.
- Good understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
