As a Field Service Technician II, you'll be a trusted partner to our customers, providing expert service and repairs that keep critical equipment operating safely and efficiently. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will help minimize downtime, improve productivity, and strengthen the relationships that drive our success.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, brakes, and lifting components.
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and basic welding or fabrication work to ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications.
- Manage service documentation, maintain parts and supplies, and keep company vehicles clean, safe, and ready for daily customer support.
- Follow all safety standards and regulatory requirements, complete ongoing technical training, and contribute to a strong Safety-First culture while supporting service team growth and recruiting efforts.
- High school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience repairing material handling equipment, heavy equipment, diesel-powered machinery, or related equipment.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills, including the ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
- Valid driver's license required; trade school education, technician certifications, and welding or fabrication experience are preferred.
