What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment—engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and lifting systems—both in the shop and at customer sites.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to catch issues early and keep equipment operating to manufacturer specifications.
- Safely disassemble, repair, rebuild, and reassemble components while following all safety procedures and regulations.
- Document work completed, manage parts and supplies, and take part in ongoing technical and safety training.
- A solid mechanical foundation, strong problem-solving skills, and pride in doing the job right.
- 1 year of experience in forklift repair or a related industry, with a high school diploma or GED (trade school a plus).
- A customer-first mindset, clear communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and continuous learning—including progress toward product certifications.
