This position is responsible for being the District's first point of contact on the phone and at the front counter performing all related water and sewer customer service inquiries to include: billing, collections, water usage, and initiating and terminating service.
This is a full-time, hourly position working 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. After orientation, the District allows for remote work up to 2 days a week.
Core Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains customer accounts and provides research on customer accounts, payments, water usage, and responds to escrow requests for estimated or actual final bills and Tap and Connection letters.
- Prepares and processes: Monthly water and sewer bills, final bills, account adjustments, past due notifications, and collections, closed customer account reimbursements, and daily payments posting to accounts.
- Responds to alerts and notifies customers of potential issues. Provides administrative assistance and promotes the use of the customer portal.
- Coordinates with the Operations and Engineering Departments on customer service requests and inspection scheduling for occupancy permit signoffs, side sewer, and grinder pumps.

Required Qualifications
