Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive restaurant experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment. Note: we are looking for someone who is flexible for weekdays and weekends from 11AM to 9PM

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems to process customer purchases.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout and seating area.
• Stock self-service area and assist with inventory management as needed
• Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate cash handling and change giving.
• Clean and maintain self-service area.
• Wipe the trays clean and stack the used dishes in the bin.

Experience

• Previous experience in restaurant or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are necessary for interacting with customers effectively.
• Maintaining all areas clean and sanitized.
