A day in the life of a Human Resource Coordinator Associate

Samaritans Purse is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator Associate to join the awesome Human Resource team at our International Headquarters located in Boone, NC. The Human Resource Coordinator Associate provides administrative support for the HR Partnerships & Recruiting team. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with the HR Partners and Recruiting team throughout the process to ensure an excellent candidate/new employee experience and achieve staffing goals.

In the role of Human Resource Coordinator Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Complete background checks, social media screens, and drug screens for candidates
• Coordinate and facilitate travel arrangements and processes for on-site interview candidates
• Administer and record results of skills testing or other required candidate assessments as needed
• Answer and respond promptly and graciously to incoming calls and emails from applicants, hiring departments, and Ministry staff
• Completes quality checks of processes to ensure employee documents are uploaded
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Associates degree and at least two (2) years of related human resources, recruiting, or administrative experience; or equivalent combination of training/education and experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Exceptionally detail oriented
• Exemplary customer service skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of management within the organization
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in the department
• Ability to work as part of a team with a high degree of flexibility
• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time and organize daily responsibilities, shift direction, and work under time constraints
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exhibit a high level of discretion while handling confidential information

Job Location: North Wilkesboro, NC

Type: Temporary Full time 6 months

Monday Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)
