Franchise Multi-Entity Bookkeeper
Sam The Concrete Man | Centennial, Colorado | On-site (Hybrid eligible after 90 days)

Role Summary
This Bookkeeper position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial accuracy and integrity for our franchise network. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this individual is responsible for managing day-to-day and month-end bookkeeping functions across multiple franchise entities using QuickBooks Online (QBO), Service Minder, and Excel. The ideal candidate brings meticulous attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, thrives in a multi-entity environment, and takes ownership of their work with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time, in-office position for at least the first 90 days, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule to be discussed thereafter based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Bookkeeping
- Review, code, and categorize daily bank and credit card transactions imported into QuickBooks Online
- Perform full monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in transaction records
- Analyze transaction details to resolve issues such as multiple payments applied to a single invoice
- Review customer balances and resolve negative or incorrect balances
- Match expenses and costs recorded in QuickBooks Online with project costs in Service Minder
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between accounting systems
- Set up and maintain vendor records in QuickBooks Online
- Confirm that each paid job has an assigned vendor
- Set up new QuickBooks Accounts
Month-End Close
- Handle month-end closing procedures across multiple franchise entities
- Review Profit & Loss statements and confirm revenue reconciles with the Service Minder End-of-Month report
- Verify Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reconciles with the Service Minder Parts Usage report
- Confirm that COGS entries are recorded in the correct accounting period
- Ensure all bank and credit card accounts reconcile accurately to records
- Assist with year-end contractor reporting and preparation of 1099 forms
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the Accounting Manager with accounting-related and hoc projects as needed
- Assist with process improvements, documentation, and system optimization
- Provide bookkeeping support for new franchise locations as they onboard
- Corporate AR tasks as time allows
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of bookkeeping experience
- At least 1 year of experience providing bookkeeping services for multiple entities simultaneously — either through a franchisor corporate office or a bookkeeping/accounting firm managing a large client portfolio (preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy across high transaction volumes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload across multiple franchise accounts simultaneously
- Ability to work independently, self-manage daily and monthly deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with the Accounting Manager and internal stakeholders

Work Location
Centennial, CO 80112. Candidates must be willing to work on-site full-time for a minimum of 90 days. Hybrid flexibility may be available after that period based on performance and business needs.
