Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Ventura, CA, focused on Underground Utilities and Heavy Civil projects. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with teams and stakeholders, overseeing the installation of sewer, water, storm drain, and dry utility systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. The Project Manager will also monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Must have proficient understanding of heavy civil utility construction, and able to read and understand construction specifications and drawings
- Strong Analytical and Budgeting skills to manage and optimize project costs
- Knowledge of Facility Management (FM) principles relevant to utility and heavy civil construction projects
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with applicable industry regulations and safety standards
- Prior experience managing infrastructure or utility installation projects
- Able to work M-F with a 7am start, occasionally on call after hours
- Valid California driver's license and insurable under SHS's plan
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay will be determined by the candidate’s level of experience (e.g., Junior, Mid, or Senior). The $100,000 listed in the posting is a baseline starting point and may be increased for qualified candidates
