We’re looking for a Project Manager with 6 years of experience to support our rapidly growing Camarillo, California office. As we are a young, established, and growing company, the right individual is well-positioned to become an integral long-term member of our team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Providing technical direction to and mentoring other engineers, designers & support staff.
· Acting as a liaison between clients and agencies, and other consultants on the project team.
· Conducting constructability and design reviews of design and construction plans, technical specifications, contract documents and cost estimates.
· Participating in construction administration services including RFI responses, submittal reviews and construction observation.
· Conceptualizing the initial design approach for projects with the overall responsibility for the project design through completion.
· Effectively establishing project priorities and standards.
· Coordinating technical and administrative activities with those of other disciplines.
· Assisting in planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work of the project team, including the coordination of the project with the review agencies.
· Attending and participating in client and agency meetings as appropriate.
· Visiting project sites to review conditions as appropriate.
The set of qualifications we’re looking for:
Required
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an A.B.E.T. Accredited School.
· Current PE or EIT with plans to pursue PE license within next 2 years.
· Minimum 6 years of design experience with an increasing level of project responsibility.
· Expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.
· Efficient time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
· Strong delegation skills to coordinate the work of the project team, including the coordination of the project with the review agencies.
· Proven ability serving as the liaison between clients and agencies, and other consultants on the project team.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
Bonus Skills
Experience with the following software programs:
o Bluebeam, Mosaic, Slack, Smartsheet, BQE Core, Dropbox, Zoom
Physical Requirements
· The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
· Occasional travel to client facilities and project sites require ability to be physically mobile in the field and construction sites.
