The Client Care Specialist is primarily responsible for keeping projects moving throughout our system. They are responsible for ensuring that each detail in the customer's order is addressed by managing orders from the point of contract through delivery of product. The Client Care Specialist works closely with sales teams, engineering, production, and 3rd party providers to achieve and provide excellent customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Include but not limited to:

  • Process orders, change orders, and leads as necessary in a timely manner
  • Deliver clear and timely communication to clients, providing them with necessary information about products and services while meeting their deadlines in a timely matter.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation, ensuring that all interactions and processes are documented appropriately.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage retention.
  • Address client complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally, acting as a liaison between clients and other departments to facilitate effective solutions.
  • Use logic and reasoning skills to identify, address, and resolve issues that may impede the flow of work or have a negative impact on the company and/or our clients.
  • Provide support through various channels, such as phone, email, live chat, and sometimes in person conversations.
  • Ability to make sound decision that is the right one for the company and the client
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to services or products.
  • Ability to remain focused on the highest priority and the workload at hand despite unforeseen distractions and shifting priorities.
  • Stay up to date on company products, services, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with products and/or services.
  • Sell catalog equipment as necessary
  • Willing and able to work scheduled hours, with additional outside standard business hours, if required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, sit, grasp with hands, feel texture with fingers, reach for items, cling, walk, twist, stand, and work at a desk for up to ten (10) hours per day up to six (6) days per week
  • Ability to see clearly with eyes to operate a computer and handle written communication via email and other items
  • Ability to hear audibly with ears to communicate conversations via telephone and in person
  • Ability to travel (via airplane as necessary per position) as position requires
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary/required and with short notice

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 

  • 4-5 years customer service experience in an industrial setting preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Good phone personality: Must speak in a clear, friendly manner to clients and potential clients
  • Effective communicator: Ability to listen well to understand client needs and effectively communicate them internally and externally
  • Excellent Excel & Word capabilities
  • Excellent grammar skills
  • Proven experience in organizational & multitasking abilities
  • Proven experience in prioritizing work, meeting tight deadlines and managing projects
  • Proven experience in working independently and as part of a team
  • Some overnight travel possible
  • Confidentiality agreement required
