About the Role: We are seeking a Graphic Designer, Location –Redfern, NSW or Blackburn, VIC for a Max Term - Full-Time (12 months) opportunity. Purpose of the Role: Drive the delivery of integrated missional design across The Salvation Army (TSA) working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support organisational priorities. Ensure all design outputs unify and amplify The Salvation Army (TSA) brand to win the hearts and minds of individuals and communities, and in so doing, enhance TSA’s sustainability, relevance and advocacy. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Brand Design & Creative Direction Deliver design solutions that support a unified brand identity, ensuring Mission remains a key influence across all creative outputs. Generate and lead concept-driven creative ideas and visual storytelling approaches that bring brand, mission and audience insights to life. Drive the development of inspiring, relevant and integrated campaign creative that connects with target audiences and strengthens brand impact. Campaign Development & Communication Translate marketing communication briefs and insights into effective design approaches that support campaign and communication objectives. Develop creative solutions across digital, print and integrated channels to ensure consistent and engaging audience experiences. Identify brand-related challenges and provide practical, audience-focused design recommendations to stakeholders. Brand Governance & Standards Contribute to the development of brand guidelines, templates and design tools to support brand consistency and relevance. Ensure all design and branding activities align with organisational policies, values, legislative requirements and applicable codes of practice. Apply brand standards effectively across all creative assets, print production and communication materials. Skills Required: Degree in Marketing/Communications (or related discipline) 5 years’ experience developing engaging, relevant, integrated creative in high pressure brand and campaign design work with experience across a broad range of branding applications A strong understanding of design across a range of channels, contexts and sectors, ideally including NFP Experience in the development and management of brand guidelines/style guide in large organisations highly desirable Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, projects and campaigns in a range of channels, contexts and sectors.
