Saltz Plastic Surgery & Spa Vitoria is seeking a Surgical Scheduling Specialist to join our busy, high-profile practice. This full-time role manages surgical schedules, coordinates communication between patients and operating facilities, ensures payments are collected on time, and maintains accurate EMR documentation.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional, with medical office experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize surgical scheduling for two plastic surgeons
- Coordinate communications between patients, surgical staff, and operating facilities
- Verify that all payments are complete prior to pre-op; reconcile billing and post-op charges on time
- Update and maintain patient charts, consents, and EMR documentation
- Track and confirm surgical team tasks, ensuring all steps are completed
- Ensure sales and marketing handoffs are complete prior to surgery
- Handle patient inquiries by phone, email, and portal with professionalism
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day surgical operations
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in medical administration, scheduling, or billing (plastic surgery/aesthetics preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of EMR systems (Symplast preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication and phone skills
- Reliable transportation to commute between Salt Lake City and Park City

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $27/hour, commensurate with experience
