DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete routine outboard maintenance on Yamaha and Suzuki engines.
- Complete basic Yamaha & Suzuki diagnostics on electrical, fuel, ignition and cooling systems.
- Basic understanding of DC boat systems diagnostics and repair.
- Keep customers informed of the work needed with accurate estimates.
- Clearly document: inspection, test results, work performed or to be performed and parts used.
- Moving boats and trailers as needed.
- Keeping the shop clean and any other tasks to keep the shop running efficient.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIRED:
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to our business practices and software
- Proven experience with Yamaha Outboard service, Diag, Tilt & trim & fuel systems (minimum of 2 years required).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Looking for high end professional.
- You must be responsible, dependable, self-motivated, honest, open-minded and work well with others as a part of the team.
- Must be accurate and efficient.
- Able to maintain professional presentation and good work ethic.
- Must possess organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess strong written and verbal skills.
- This role requires a strong understanding of schematics and the ability to work directly with customers to provide exceptional service.
