DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot/Diagnose and repair electrical, fuel, ignition, cooling systems, etc. for Yamaha and Suzuki outboards.
- Install accessories, such as; trolling motors, electronics, lights, and stereo systems.
- Diagnose and repair DC boat systems/components.
- Perform general maintenance on outboards including service, water pumps, and valve adjustments.
- Responsible for communicating professionally with customer through diagnostics, quotes and repair process.
- Must be responsible, dependable, self-motivated, honest, openminded and work well with others as a part of the team.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of work with minimal number of comebacks.
- Proficient with powerhead and gearcase rebuilds.
- On water diagnostics.
- Tilt & Trim system rebuild.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIRED:
- Yamaha Master Certification.
- Proficient with on water boat handling experience.
- Familiar with Yamaha warranty procedures.
- Team leader.
- Efficient/productive work ethic.
- Marine experience on Yamaha outboards is a must. Looking for a master tech level Mechanic.
- Must be self-motivated, efficient and willing to work as a team.
- Must be accurate and detail oriented.
- Able to maintain professional presentation and good work ethic.
- Must possess organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
